Warrior Football Wins the Fence Post

Woodbridge Football defeated University 56-28 on Friday and with the win secured the Fence Post Trophy. The Warriors were led by a record performance from Nick Nash. Nick broke the scoring record with 6 rushing touchdowns and 2 more passing. He broke Max Nesser’s record of 6 total TD’s in 2010. The blocking from the offensive line, Austin Gaines, Jonathan Kim, Kyle Wray, Matt Ploof, Jared Ayvazian, tight ends Colin Turner, Will Serio, Emanuel Goffe and receivers, Jacob Nash, Elyjah Rush, Cassady Wells and Kyle Hurry as well as fullback/running back Chance Rainey, Sam and Max Tipple helped Nick rush for 324 yards and pass for an additional 183 yards. Nick’s total yardage of 507 was also a warrior record. Congratulations to all for this record breaking performance and team win.
